Overview
The AgriCareer Workplace Pathways (AWP) program is a workplace-based training initiative designed to provide a clear and practical pathway through Certificate II, III, and IV in Agriculture.
Utilising the business’s own policies and procedures in its training and assessment materials, the AWP program ensures learning is relevant and directly applicable to the participant’s day-to-day work environment.
This tailored approach helps integrate formal qualifications with workplace requirements, enhancing skill development while maintaining operational consistency.
VEG Education has successfully implemented this model with a large dairy company across Victoria, South Australia, Tasmania, and New Zealand. It has also been mapped out for a national horticulture business including leadership training with the Diploma of Horticulture Management.
The program is ideal for a broad range of agricultural sectors, such as horticulture (fresh produce), dairy, broadacre cropping, and cattle farming, supporting industry-specific skills and leadership development.
