OHS Essentials is a WorkSafe Victoria–funded program that provides free safety consultation services to small and medium-sized businesses.
VEG Education and NS8 are independent consultants who visit businesses—predominantly farms—that have applied for the program. During these visits, we conduct a comprehensive audit of employer obligations and workplace safety practices. Following the audit, we provide each business with a tailored report offering practical, often low-cost, and effective solutions.
At the six-month mark, we conduct a follow-up review to discuss progress, address any challenges, and support implementation of the recommended measures. A final visit at twelve months allows us to review and assess the actions taken.
