Qualification Requirements
To achieve this qualification, competency must be demonstrated in:
- 16 units of competency:
- 4 core units plus
- 12 elective units.
Elective units must ensure the integrity of the qualification’s Australian Qualification Framework (AQF) alignment and contribute to a valid, industry-supported vocational outcome. The electives are to be chosen as follows:
- 6 units must be from groups A or B
- The remaining 6 units must be selected from electives listed in groups A, B or C, or any currently endorsed Training Package or accredited course
- Electives from group C can only be selected where required as a prerequisite.
